Can cause such a fright
Bones, ghosts, candy galore
We bought too much stuff- all from the store
Pumpkins we now carve
Seeds we separate and back
Trick or treat will be small
Mystery movies will be a ball
And maybe a donut fry
The girls make costumes to delight
As we get ready for Halloween night
From the days of COVID 2020. I have this short poem to remind me what we tried to do to make this holiday work when the world was in a shut down.
