This picture pile is my foe!
This is my pile of pictures when I pulled them out before I organized. Several months, I had a cousin send me several boxes more pictures. I was so excited and so overwhelmed.
Three things I have learned
1- Get it all out in the open. Know what you are working with. Pull out stuff from the garage, basement, closet, drawers, den, etc. You don't have to organize everything at once. You have to know where everything is at once.
2- Get help. Family, friends, or hire it out. It is nice to have people keep the motivation going. When you feel overwhelmed, tired, or need a pep talk turn to your "help."
3- You will never "have time" to work on the picture project. Schedule it into your life. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from ten to noon. Life is busy. If you want to tackle this, make it a priority. Put it in your schedule.
